Dr Julian Murphy is a Barrister at the Victorian Bar who holds a PhD from the Melbourne Law School, where his research focused on the constitutional dimensions of statutory interpretation. Julian also holds an LLM from Columbia Law School and undergraduate degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Melbourne. Julian’s scholarship on criminal and public law has appeared in various Australian and international journals, including the Columbia Journal of Race & Law, the UNSW Law Journal and the Melbourne University Law Review.
