Julian R Murphy is a barrister at the Victorian Bar and an Honorary Fellow at Melbourne Law School. Julian holds a PhD from the Melbourne Law School and an LLM from Columbia Law School, as well as undergraduate degrees with honours in Arts and Law from the University of Melbourne. He has published academic articles in journals in Australia, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe. As a barrister, Julian practises primarily in public law, particularly constitutional, administrative and criminal law.
