Stephen Puttick is a member of the New South Wales Bar and an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia. He has taught at the University of Western Australia and the University of Sydney, where he is also completing his doctorate on equitable estoppels.

He has published in various journals on a range of subjects. He is presently a Reporter for the New South Wales Law Reports.
