Simon Rice is an Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of Sydney, a consultant to the law firm Chalk & Behrendt, and a board member of the NSW Council of Social Service and the Justice and Equity Centre. He has worked for many years in community legal centres, collaborating with social workers on clients’ cases, community development projects and law reform campaigns, and providing legal issues training to a wide range of social service providers. His publications include The International Law of Human Rights with Adam McBeth and Justine Nolan, and Anti-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity Law in Australia with Dominique Allen.
