Linda Briskman holds the Margaret Whitlam Chair of Social Work at Western Sydney University. An award-winning academic, she publishes and conducts research in the areas of Indigenous rights, the rights of people seeking asylum and anti-racism, including Islamophobia. She teaches Critical Social Work Practice. Linda is a member of the Australian Council for Human Rights Education committee of management and on the advisory committee of the Jewish Council of Australia. She is a panel member of the People’s Inquiry into Campus Free Speech on Palestine.
