Geoff Holland commenced teaching at UTS in 2003 in both the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science. He teaches Australian Constitutional Law, Media Law, Entertainment Law, Civil Liberties Law and Animal Law and Policy.

Geoff is also a barrister and practices in media law, defamation and constitutional law. Geoff is a former member of the Board of Directors of Electronic Frontiers Australia. He was a member of the Editorial Board of the UTS Law Review (2003- 2006) and was Co-Editor of Volume 5 of the Review, “The Public Right to Know”. He is author of the Halsbury’s Laws of Australia chapter on Entertainment Law.

Prior to joining UTS, Geoff worked in criminal law policy development, media law, corporate publishing, and for a national media network.

Geoff is Chair of the Faculty’s Mooting Management Committee and is coach of the Faculty’s mooting teams in constitutional law and media law mooting competitions.
