Andrew Roberts is a Professor at Melbourne Law School, The University of Melbourne. He has published widely on various aspects of the law relating to criminal evidence and procedure. He is a co-author of Identification: Investigation, Trial and Scientific Evidence, 2nd edn (Jordan, 2011). He has served on the editorial board of the International Journal of Evidence and Proof (2009-2015) and is a member (since 2004) of a panel of commentators who provide analysis on English appellate cases that are reported in the Criminal Law Review. His work has been cited by courts in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and by the Law Commission of England and Wales.
