Stephen Rowley is an independent planning consultant, and an adjunct Senior Lecturer in Urban Planning and Design at Monash University. He is a former co-editor of the magazine Planning News; current Planning Editor for the Victorian Planning Reports; and a former committee member, policy convenor and Vice President of the Planning Institute of Australia (Victoria Division). He is the author of Movie Towns and Sitcom Suburbs: Building Hollywood’s Ideal Communities (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015).
