Scott is a senior lecturer and Teaching and Learning Coordinator at Victoria Law School. Scott developed Victoria Law School’s innovative learning in the workplace and community program which integrates reflective learning practices into the law curriculum.
Scott’s PhD thesis concerned internet censorship as perceived through legal geographic lens and described the impact of regulatory fortressing and regulatory communities on the construction of community values and the classification of online content. Other current research projects for Scott include the censorship of video games and the governance of swearing.

Presently, Scott is busy developing the legal learning online community and resource point, legalliteracies.org. In his spare time Scott is a legal geographer, wing chun practitioner, manga-ka and drupal admin.
