Dr Ronnie Harding became the founding Director of the Institute of Environmental Studies at UNSW in 1992. From 2000 to 2004 she developed and ran the University-wide Master of Environmental Management program. After retiring from UNSW in late 2004, she worked in a range of advisory positions for public, NGO and private sector organisations, including as Chair of the NSW Council on Environmental Education from 1999-2007 and Assistant Commissioner for the NSW Natural Resources Commission since 2004.
