Dr Renata Alexander is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Monash University and a Victorian barrister specialising in family law and family violence cases.

She teaches family law and clinical legal education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has published widely on family law, family violence and child abuse.

She has volunteered at a community legal centre for many years.
