Michael Morgan is a barrister based at 13th Floor St James Hall in Sydney, NSW. Having been called to the Bar in May 2022, Michael’s practice includes administrative law where he has appeared in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal in migration matters seeking merits review of ministerial decisions.

In addition to his practice as a barrister, Michael teaches at Western Sydney University as a seasonal lecturer in both the Graduate Diploma of Australian Migration Law and the LLB program. Additionally, Michael has presented CPDs to the City of Sydney Law Society on topics such as practice and procedure in the Land and Environment Court of NSW.

Additionally, Michael is also a member of both the NSW Bar Association New Barristers Committee and the University of Technology Sydney’s Research Ethics Committee. Michael is also a regular contributor to the NSW Law Society Journal writing on cases in the Federal Court of Australia concerning recent developments in immigration law.
