Mary Anne Kenny is an Associate Professor at the School of Law at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. She teaches, researches and publishes in the area of refugee and immigration law, she has a special interest in the intersection of mental health and refugee law. She is an adjunct Associate Professor in the Centre for Human Rights Education at Curtin University. She is a registered migration agent and practising lawyer. She has acted as an independent expert advisor on refugee law issues to the government of Australia and the government of Nauru.
