Dr Karina Murray is an Associate Professor in the University of Sydney Law School. Her research spans legal ethics, legal education and the legal profession, having completed her PhD on the ethical professional identity of directors of incorporated legal practices. She teaches primarily in Legal Ethics as well as Corporations Law and coordinates the Sydney Law School Internships subject. In 2015, she received an Australian Award for University Teaching (AAUT citation).

In her previous career, Karina worked in the public sector, largely in people and project management roles. She has also managed a multi-office regional law firm. She is also a founding member of the Wollongong chapter of the Women Lawyers’ Association NSW. She regularly delivers CPD training sessions on relevant and topical issues of legal ethics and professional responsibility.
