Karina Murray is a senior lecturer, the Academic Program Director and Discipline Leader in the School of Law at the University of Wollongong (UOW). In her previous career, Karina worked in the public sector, largely in people and project management roles. She has also managed a multi-office regional law firm.

Since joining UOW in 2006, she has coordinated and taught a range of subjects, including Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Foundations of Law, and Interpreting Legal Texts. She is a member of the national OLT award-winning First Year Integration Team at UOW Law School. She publishes in the areas of legal ethics, the legal profession and legal education, and is currently working on her PhD, ‘Incorporated Legal Character: Is There a Moral to This Story?’.

She was invited to be inducted as a fellow of the Wollongong Academy of Tertiary Teaching and Learning Excellence (WATTLE) in 2014. She is also a founding member of the Wollongong chapter of the Women Lawyers’ Association NSW.
