Daniel Ghezelbash is an Associate Professor at Macquarie Law School. His research focuses on comparative refugee and immigration law. He has a particular interest in the diffusion of restrictive asylum policies around the world. He is a practicing refugee and immigration lawyer and the founder and director of the Macquarie University Social Justice Clinic. He is a volunteer lawyer and member of the management committee of Refugee Advice and Casework Services, and Special Counsel at the National Justice Project.
