Catherine holds a Master of Laws, as well as honours degrees in both Law and Accounting. She joined Griffith University in 2015 and has previously worked at the Queensland University of Technology and Southern Cross University law schools. Catherine has had extensive experience with the Queensland and NSW Government sectors as an accountant, auditor and business manager. She has also practised in the area of taxation law.

Catherine teaches in the corporate law, taxation law and legal research areas. Catherine’s scholarship in learning and teaching has focused on blended learning, life-long learning and capstone experiences. Her current research interests are in the intersection of insolvency and taxation laws.
