Arie Freiberg AM is an Emeritus Professor at Monash University and Chair of the Victorian and Tasmanian Sentencing Advisory Councils. Professor Freiberg’s areas of expertise are sentencing, non-adversarial justice, regulation and the administration of criminal justice. He is a recognised expert on sentencing and sentencing reform. Professor Freiberg’s produced over 140 publications in a number of areas including criminal law, sentencing, non-adversarial justice, regulatory theory and emotion and public policy.
