Australian Journal of Asian Law

Abstract from Volume 9 No 1 (2007)

We regret that the institutional affiliation of Eugene KB Tan was omitted from his article, ‘Harmony as ideology, Culture and Control: Alternative Dispute Resolution in Singapore,’ published in the print issue 9(1) of Australian Journal of Asian Law, together with his acknowledgments of assistance. The omitted endnote should have read:

Eugene KB Tan is Assistant Professor of Law, School of Law, Singapore Management University. Several colleagues helped me improve the ideas and arguments presented in very early versions of this article. I thank Kaori Daimon, Nick Jabbour and Andrew Phang. Special thanks to Stephanie Smith (Stanford Law School) who encouraged and piqued my interest in conflict resolution systems design. Thanks to the reviewers and editors of the Australian Journal of Asian Law for their helpful comments in the review process, as well as the journal’s editorial assistant, Wilfred Ho. Funding for this research was provided by the Office of Research, Singapore Management University (grant number: C207/MSS5B005). The usual caveats apply.
