Rebecca Ananian-Welsh is an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland TC Beirne School of Law where she teaches and researches in constitutional law and national security. Her research has been recognised in awards from the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia, UNSW and UQ, as well as being shortlisted for a Queensland Literary Award and an Australian Legal Research Award. She has published widely across leading outlets, with a focus on courts, counter-terrorism and press freedom.
