Law, Ethics and Public Affairs Series

Since 1996, the National Institute for Law, Ethics and Public Affairs (NILEPA), now part of the Key Centre for Ethics, Law, Justice and Goverance at Griffith University, Brisbane and The Federation Press have been bringing out titles in the Law, Ethics and Public Affairs Series.

The Key Centre for Ethics, Law, Justice and Governance (KCELJAG) aims to provide a distinctive and significant response to the challenges facing the values and institutions of liberal democracy throught he applicaiotn of the insights of academics and practitioners in the fields of law, ethics, politics and criminology. It will pursue those aims through a range of research, teaching and support programs.

One of its prime publishing outputs is through the series Law, Ethics and Public Affairs.

The Patron of the Key Centre is His Excellency, Sir William Deane, AC, KBE, and the Chairman of the Advisory Board is Hon Justice Tony Fitzgerald. It is led by Professor Charles Sampford (Director) and Professors Pat Weller and Ross Homel (Deputy Directors).
