Stephen is a Professor in the Faculty of Law at Monash University and a member of the Innovation Investment Committee of Innovation Australia. Stephen was previously a consultant with the law firm, Blake Dawson. He has also consulted to the Australian Taxation Office and Treasury and served on several professional and government committees and advisory panels. Stephen is the author/co-author of many books on taxation and venture capital law and the recipient of numerous teaching awards, including the Prime Minister’s Award for Australian University Teacher of the Year.
