Dr Lisa Burton Crawford is Professor of Public and Constitutional Law at the University of Sydney. Lisa’s research focuses on the intersection of constitutional law, administrative law and legal theory. She has a special interest in the constitutional parameters of judicial review and executive power and the way in which ideas of the rule of law inform constitutional and statutory interpretation. Her most recent research examines legislative complexity and its implications for public law. Lisa has taught Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Public Law, and Statutory Interpretation at several Australian universities.
