Jieun Lee is Assistant Professor at Ewha Woman’s University in Seoul, Korea. She has taught interpreting and translation at Macquarie University from 2003 to 2009 and has 15 years experience as a professional interpreter and translator.

She has wide ranging interpreting experience from community interpreting to diplomatic interpreting and has published various articles on interpreting and interpreter education. She is a PhD in Linguistics and has published several papers on court interpreting and interpreter education.
