Jeff is Principal, JOS Consulting, specialising in governance, resilience, strategic planning, and capacity building, as well as sustainability, climate change, biodiversity conservation, and environmental and planning law. He was previously the CEO of EDO NSW for 14 years. EDO NSW is Australia’s premier public interest law firm working to protect the environment. Jeff is a solicitor with a Masters of Law from Sydney University (majoring in Environmental Law and Policy). He regularly teaches postgraduate and undergraduate courses at Macquarie University and Sydney University. Jeff is currently on the Advisory Committee for the Australian Centre for Climate and Environmental Law (having been Chair for eight years), and the Board of the Haymarket Foundation. He was also a long-time Board member of the EDO Ltd, the Total Environment Centre, the Environmental Planning and Law Association, and CLC NSW as well the Strategic Council for the Climate Institute.
