Bronwyn Byrnes is a barrister at the Sydney Bar.  She practices in employment law and public law with a special focus on discrimination law.  She is regularly briefed by both applicants and respondents in discrimination cases in both the State and Federal jurisdictions. Bronwyn completed an LLM (Hons) at the University of Cambridge where she studied with the support of a British Chevening Scholarship. Bronwyn teaches in the area of employment law at the University of Technology Sydney. She trained as a lawyer at Allens and also practised as a solicitor in employment law in London before spending 8 years in the Legal Department of the Australian Human Rights Commission.
